Yuletide at Storrowton kicks off Saturday
A holiday tradition returns to West Springfield this weekend when “Yuletide at Storrowton” begins Saturday.
“We always talked about Yuletide at Storrowton becoming a family tradition, and now some 23 years later it has,” said Dennis Picard, director, Storrowton Village Museum on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition.
“People come back each year and bring their family and friends with them, some to get decorating ideas and others maybe to start to get into the spirit…….and it’s all free without the pressure of visiting the mall at this time of year,” he added.
The annual holiday features all kinds of yuletide activities and celebrations for the entire family, as well as musical presentations, entertainment and shopping.
Decorated by area garden clubs, florists and designers, every visible nook and cranny of the Village will be decked out with wreaths, swags, garlands, fresh evergreens and all natural materials.
