Officers from the Arkansas State Police working on an alleged sexual assault case at Arkansas Tech University have released a detailed description of the suspect.

The description provided by Arkansas State Police on Friday, Nov. 18, indicates that the suspect is an African-American male in his early-to-mid 20s. He is believed to be between 6-foot-2 and 6-foot-3 in height and between 170 and 180 pounds in weight.

According to Arkansas State Police, the suspect has multiple tattoos including one on his neck with possible cursive writing on it. Officers also report that the suspect has at least one pierced ear.

An alleged victim and a witness filed statements concerning the alleged sexual assault with the Arkansas Tech University Office of Public Safety on Wednesday, Nov. 16.

The alleged assault took place that afternoon in the men's locker room at the Hull Physical Education Building. According to statements from the alleged male victim and a male witness filed at 4:25 p.m. Wednesday, the male suspect put his hand down the front of the alleged victim's pants and groped him.

It's possible a customer complained, which made it an issue for your boss. Depending on where you work, visible piercings may not appear "professional" on men, and anything but ears or a small nose stud are often not allowed for women, too. Several places I've worked at had dress codes like that, and there's really nothing you can do about it in most cases. As long as they apply the same rule to everyone, they're within the law. I think its pretty stupid for you to have to remove them. Barring a health concern or saftey concern,, alot of these drees codes and based on old fashioned ideas about the way a man should look and how a woman should look. Years ago when I worked at a steak house, the women were allowed small earrings and long hair(pull it back in a ponytail) But were the men? No! that had to cut their hair and take out their earrings.

Thank you all for your replies. I work in the mail room of a high rise office building in downtown Chicago. I deliver the mail and packages to the clients, along with the rest of my staff. I'm going to see if clear retainers will be acceptable. I just find it amusing that I have had them pierced for 4 months now and the NEW client contact saw them and talked to my boss about them. I can go into a rant about how unprofessional she is, but I will not.I agree with those who posted about working in a food service place, which I do not. Everything I've looked up about the issue points to one thing Firedawn said about what a man should look like and what a woman should look like. There is the "social norm" that is involved here....

So I'm a fifteen year old male and for two straight years I have asked, pleaded, begged, and made deals with my parents to allow me to get my ears pierced, I did it myself only to have the school send me to three sessions with a shrink for "self mutilation"because I did it myself. I have tried making all sorts of deals with my parents, even offering to give up my birthday, christmas, as well as pay them 25 quid each. Is there anything else i can possibly do?
